Something I recently discovered and I want to share it while it is still in it's infant phase. I don't usually make tutorials and even when I did, I didn't manage to post it, well this can be an exception, I had used this to teach someone in digital painting, and I think it is effective. and hope it does the same for other.

Character concept and sketch belongs to :iconcavalos: if you got a problem with the anatomy and character, better tell it to him and not here.

Feel free to ask any questions related to the tutorials.

UPDATE! Thanks to :iconsummerfrost: for pointing out some problem with the pentool section, I hope I made it right this time. ^^;

For those who cant work the pen tool like you, i guess it is, Tal... xD

I mean, i cant work the pen tool at all, so, it would take me ages to lineart like you do, even though the result would be 100 times better... ^^

Is pentool really that hard? I mean all the student[Computer] at my school knows how, cause they use it for graphic design when developing a website, but they can't even draw simple anime with pencils... I am not kidding. that is why I thought Pentool is easy to use ^^;

Your lineart are great! are you using tablet? If you can create lineart like those, I don't see any reason why you should use pentool.
